Account Deletion is Permanent and Irreversible

Once you delete your account, all your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

How to Delete Your EvolveDaily Account

You can delete your EvolveDaily account directly from the mobile app at any time. Follow these steps:

Steps to Delete Your Account:

  1. Open the EvolveDaily mobile app
  2. Navigate to Settings
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
  4. Enter your email address for verification
  5. Type "delete my account" to confirm
  6. Tap the confirmation button to permanently delete your account

Can't Access The App?

If you're unable to access the mobile app, you can delete your account directly from your web browser.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your EvolveDaily account, the following data will be permanently removed from our servers:

  • Your profile information (name, email, profile picture, bio)
  • All workout logs, durations, and completion records
  • All journal entries, mood ratings, and mental wellness data
  • Devotional reading progress and spiritual wellness data
  • Academic assignments, study sessions, and task completion records
  • Job applications, interview preparation, and professional development data
  • Focus session timers and durations
  • Gamification data (XP, streaks, achievements, challenges completed)
  • Calendar integration settings (iCal URLs, Google Calendar connections)
  • All user-generated content (notes, custom tasks)
  • Authentication tokens and credentials
  • Local device data will be cleared from your device

What Data Will NOT Be Deleted

The following data will be retained even after account deletion:

Anonymized Feedback Data

Any feedback, bug reports, or questionnaire responses you submitted through the App are anonymized (all personally identifiable information is removed) and retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.

Why we keep this: Anonymized feedback helps us:

  • Improve app features and user experience
  • Track and fix bugs reported by users
  • Analyze usage patterns to inform development decisions
  • Maintain a historical record of product feedback

Important: This anonymized data cannot be traced back to you or your account. All identifying information (name, email, user ID, etc.) is permanently removed before the data is stored for analysis.

Legal Compliance Data

In certain circumstances, we may retain limited information for legal, tax, or regulatory compliance purposes as required by law. Any such data is kept only for the minimum period required and is securely stored with restricted access.

Data Retention Period

Immediate Deletion: Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted from our MongoDB database immediately upon confirmation. This deletion is irreversible and cannot be undone.

Legal Retention: In certain circumstances, we may retain limited information for legal, tax, or regulatory compliance purposes as required by law. This may include:

  • Records necessary for tax compliance
  • Information required to comply with legal obligations
  • Data needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements

Any data retained for legal purposes will be kept only for the minimum period required by applicable law and will be securely stored with restricted access.

Third-Party Services

Please note that EvolveDaily integrates with the following third-party services that may have their own data retention policies:

  • Google Account Data: Your Google account information (used for sign-in) is managed by Google. Deleting your EvolveDaily account does not delete your Google account. To manage your Google data, visit your Google Account settings.
  • Google Calendar: If you connected your Google Calendar, workout events created by EvolveDaily will remain in your calendar unless you manually delete them. You can revoke EvolveDaily's access to your calendar in your Google Account permissions.
  • Firebase: Authentication records managed by Firebase may be retained according to Firebase's data retention policies.
